Banana-Choco muffins and chocolade cake #weekendexp

These are my another #weekendexp during Ramadhan 2012. They are perfect for our ifthar, Sena loves them too. I’m so happy 😉 I took the recipes from http://www.joyofbaking.com/. The website is very cool, lots of simple and interesting recipes to try on 🙂 I’ve followed them on Facebook too hehe 🙂

Now, the first recipe is choco muffins.

Banana choco muffins

Ingredients:

– 150 gr flour

– 1 tbs baking powder

– 110 gr sugar

– 1 egg

– 30 ml vegetable oil

– 125 ml milk

– 1 tsp vanila

– 2 banana

– chocolate meses

How to make:

– Simply mix the dry ingredient (flour, baking powder and sugar) in one bowl and wet ingredient (egg, vegetable oil, milk and vanilla) in another bowl, mix well. Grind the bananas with fork to make paste.

– Than add wet ingredient to dry ingredient, mix well. The last is pour the banana paste and chocolate meses.

– Pour the batter into muffins cups then cook them in oven (preheated for 5 mins) for 15-18 mins. Cover the cups with aluminium foil so that the surface of the cake don’t get burnt easily and remove the foil in the last 8 mins.

 

Second recipe is chocolade cake. This cake is awesomely moist and it’s even don’t use egg !!! 🙂

Ingredients:

– 125 gr flour

– 170 gr sugar

– 25 gr cocoa ( I used 50% chocolate bar, melt)

– 1 tbs baking powder

– 1/4 tsp salt

– 75 gr butter (melt)

– 240 ml warm water

– 1 tsp vanilla

How to make:

– In one bowl mix the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt) and in another bowl mix the wet ingredients (choco and butter).

– mix them well then add water little by little until the batter is smooth. Add the last ingredient, vanilla.

– Pour the batter into the pan (grease well the pan with butter). Then cook the cake in the oven (preheated for 5 mins) for 30-35 mins (check with skewer). Cover the pan with aluminium foil so that the surface of the cake don’t get burnt easily and remove the cover in the last 10 mins.
